MD3 is a Maine EMS-approved service that strengthens local emergency response through physician-level support and professional education.
Our physicians respond alongside local EMS professionals, working as part of their team to add advanced care, not replace it. We bring advanced equipment and expertise to the scene, and we train the crews who serve this region every day.

Support MD3
Your support matters
MD3 never bills a patient or the agency that requests us. Our physicians, their equipment, and the training we provide to EMS partners are funded entirely by grants and community support.
A monthly gift is the most dependable way to help. It keeps our physicians equipped and ready to respond when local crews need them.
Our no-cost commitment
- No-cost physician-level field response. Agencies who request our EMS physicians to a scene never receive a bill from MD3, and patients who receive assessment or care from our physicians are never charged.
- No-cost professional development. We offer education to our EMS partners at no cost, to sharpen skills and improve patient outcomes across the region.
All of our operations are made possible through grants and public donations.
