
We are incredibly proud to announce that MD3’s own Chief Medical Director, Dr. Tim Pieh, will be the featured guest at the upcoming Maine Voices Live event in Waterville.
This conversation represents a unique opportunity for the public to get an “inside look” at the mission that drives our organization and the future of frontline medicine here in central Maine.
The event, “Maine Voices Live with Dr. Tim Pieh,” will take place on Tuesday, December 16, at 7 p.m. at the Greene Block + Studios in Waterville. Dr. Pieh will sit down with Morning Sentinel Staff Writer Hannah Kaufman for a live conversation about his groundbreaking work with the MD3 program.
This discussion will explore the core of MD3’s mission: redefining emergency medicine by taking state-of-the-art medical care to country roads and bringing hospital-level emergency care directly to central Maine communities, right when they need it most.

As many in our community know, Dr. Pieh is a highly respected emergency medicine physician at MaineGeneral Medical Center, treating patients at both the Alfond Center for Health in Augusta and the Thayer Center for Health in Waterville. In addition to serving as our Chief Medical Director, he is the assistant medical director of emergency medicine at MaineGeneral, focusing on disaster preparedness and strengthening relationships with area EMS providers. His commitment to teaching, disaster preparedness, and advancing pre-hospital care is the driving force behind the MD3 program.
