WINTHROP, Maine – March 26, 2026

MD3 of Maine, Inc. is trading the stethoscope for the tap handle on Tuesday, March 31, as local physician Dr. Tim Pieh steps behind the bar at White Duck Brew Pub for a special community fundraiser. Located at 2527 U.S. 202 in Winthrop, the brew pub will host the event from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Supporters and community members are invited to grab a drink and enjoy an evening dedicated to sustaining vital emergency medical services in the Kennebec Valley.

While Dr. Pieh is more accustomed to high-pressure medical environments, he will be testing his skills in a different arena as the evening’s celebrity bartender. Patrons are encouraged to bring their friends, share a laugh, and perhaps offer the doctor some constructive feedback on his pouring technique—all in the spirit of supporting a critical cause.

The event serves as a benefit for the MD3 program, an organization committed to providing physician-level field response and professional development for local emergency medical services at no cost. Because MD3 operates entirely through grants and public donations, community events like these are essential to ensure that physician-led care remains accessible to regional agencies and patients during their most critical moments.

All proceeds from the evening will directly support the MD3 mission. Whether you are coming for the beer, the company, or the chance to see a local doctor in a new light, your presence helps strengthen the emergency response network serving regional neighbors and families.
